The Kahuku Wind team is excited to be working with the local community to bring clean, renewable wind energy to the island of Oahu. Comprised of experienced wind power professionals, all of whom live and work in the State of Hawaii, the Kahuku Wind team is dedicated to bringing the benefits of wind energy to the community and preserving the island’s beautiful, natural habitat.

Mike Goodwin
Mike Goodwin has 29 years of experience in the construction, energy and power sectors. He has owned and worked for engineering and construction firms in both Europe and the U.S. where he developed strong project management skills. Mike is the Project Manager for Kahuku Wind. He lives with his wife and children in Pukalani. Mike received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering in 1978 from Clarkson College of Technology, Potsdam, New York.

Mike Gresham
Mike Gresham manages First Wind's new project development in the State of Hawaii. Previously, Mike was President of Makani Nui Associates, LLC, the local partner for development, financing and construction of the 30 MW Kaheawa Wind Power project in Maui. Prior to joining us, Mike held the position of Founder, President and CEO of the California based company NextWeb and was the President and General Manager of the Wireless Interconnect division of Glenayre Electronics, then a NASDAQ 100 company. A resident of Maui, Mr. Gresham holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the College of Notre Dame.

D. Noelani Kalipi
D. Noelani Kalipi was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii and is a graduate of Hilo High School. She graduated with a B.A. in Government & Politics/Economics from George Mason University, received a J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University and is licensed to practice law in Hawaii and the District of Columbia. Noe served in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps and worked in various capacities for Senator Daniel K. Akaka, most recently as the Democratic Staff Director for the Committee on Veterans' Affairs. She is responsible for coordinating First Wind's activities with officials at all levels of government. Noe works closely with communities to help promote the understanding of the benefits of wind energy.

Wren Wescoatt
Wren Wescoatt is a Development Specialist. Raised on the island of Molokai, Wren attended Kamehameha Schools, received a B.A. in Communication from Stanford University and a M.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina. The founder of College Connections Hawaii, he spent the past eight years managing a statewide nonprofit organization. Wren now lives on Oahu and facilitates community outreach and communications for First Wind's new projects in Hawaii.
